one more day of training week

It will be nearly a week since we left Boston. The time has passed quickly but so much has happened that it’s difficult to tell if the days feel long or short. The BCEC team arrived safely yesterday and have jumped into training and preparations for summer camp on Monday. They’ve had a full day of sessions and a taste of Swedish breakfast and Swedish meatballs–in different meals.

Our family is holding up well, praise God. We’ve been getting sufficient sleep (the kids and I at least) and haven’t gotten sick. I finished up my missions curriculum with the boys. I wasn’t sure what day we would move to the second camp site and don’t have lessons planned for tomorrow. Oops. Providentially, one the of the elders from the Oslo church invited the boys and I to go to Stockholm. I’m not sure what we’ll do in a short period of time but I guess we’ll see tomorrow. Enoch will stay at the camp for the last day of training.

Please pray that we finish this week well while also gearing up for a week of summer camp. Enoch will need to put the finishing touches on his messages. I also don’t know what the programs will be like for the boys. I’d imagine that it’ll be far more structured than my week of “missions homeschooling.”

Also, I’m grateful that the kids haven’t had any serious allergy issues. After a flare up, Owen’s eczema has calmed down. I’m experiencing mysterious headaches that could be related to hitting my head on the bunk bed. It’s a little embarrassing to share but has been affecting my sleep. Other than that, it’s been a wonderful week and I’m looking forward to another.
