second full day

This evening ends our second full day in Sweden. This is training week and we’ve been spending time with leaders serving in next week’s summer camp.

I can’t speak much for the training itself but I can share about the missions program I’m doing with my kids. The boys have been receptive to learning about how big the world is and how there is a need for people to go share the gospel. I wasn’t sure how I would transition into teacher mode but so far it’s been good. It’s giving me a taste of what it would be like to homeschool. It has been a blessing to see the boys work together and see each other as a “team.” Pray that they would take the lessons to heart and that I would be a good teacher and model.

We have been feeling jet lag in an unexpected way. Between 1am and 4am, one or more of us has been awake for one reason or another. It makes for a groggy morning and frayed nerves. I have been particularly grateful that the tea is stronger here than in the US. Please pray that we may get adequate and uninterrupted rest.

I know that E would appreciate your prayers for him as well. He is operating like a one man show teaching every session and leading every team building activity. Pray that he would give his all but also get enough rest and stay healthy.
