We’re only in the third day of summer vacation and we’re transitioning just fine. Yesterday’s painting project was somewhat perilous (3 boys+acrylic paint+one adult) but overall, the relaxed pace has been nice. I keep thinking that today is Saturday. In fact the last three days have felt like Saturdays. After July 4th, we’ll start some structured, scheduled activities.
Oh and the something free? Well, you may know that I edit (more like copy edit) the Craft Leftovers blog. Kristin from over there sent me an extra copy of the summer issue of her zine. (“Zine” is a real word, you know. I looked it up.) So I’ll give it to the first interested commenter. I’ll even ship it to you–sorry no international addresses.
I should also mention that yesterday marked 10 years of karenoch. I don’t mean that our blog is ten years old but rather that e and I have been married for that long. It boggles my mind. Where did the time go? Did I miss it’s passing with babies and sleepless nights? We’re thankful to God for the blessing of so many years together. Lord willing, we pray that there may be more to come.

Do I get it if I comment first? Or are family members not eligible?

You don’t count. Neither do any of the members of this household.
