for the love of crayons

They usually live a quiet existence. Sitting in a cookie tin, they seem to multiply when we aren’t looking. Those crayons are sneaky. I was browsing Stubby Pencil Studios and found these. Saturday I made my own recycled star crayons. My reasoning is that they’ll make nice gifts to hand out for O’s birthday in a few weeks. Mostly, I wanted an excuse to melt crayons in a tin can. I only used half of our collection. Maybe I should make more. I find myself just sitting and looking at them.

In TurtleStar news, I’ve got a sale going on at my shop. (TurtleStar has been quiet for a few months.) For the month of March, all purchases are 10% off. So take a look. If you’re local and can arrange a pick up, I’ll waive shipping fees.
