Well, I returned from a restful and enjoyable weekend in N. Cal (or Nor. Cal. as some prefer). I managed to take some pictures which I will share in due time. I first wanted to show you the first fruits of our garden. Yes, I know that sugar snap peas are not technically fruits but they are the first things harvested from the yard. Evan ate one raw, he said it was ok. The variety’s name is “sugar daddy” so I think his expectations were pretty high. I ate the other one and enjoyed it. I’m not big on raw beans but these were sweet and crunchy with out being stringy or bitter.
For the curious, I will post some pictures I took over the weekend. I managed to get a few decent ones. I’ll put them up in subsequent posts. The sad thing is that I didn’t get any good pictures of people. Oh well.
