warning.

Tonight, accuweather.com alerted me to a “severe weather watch.” Concerned, I clicked on the link and found this information.

A FROST ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT MONDAY…

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.

It’s good to know I don’t have to worry about flooding or a blizzard. I never expected accuweather.com to care so deeply for my sensitive outdoor plants. I am I to be touched or should I feel like they cried “wolf” on me?

I think it might be helpful news for farmers and others who are trying to raise plants before the winter sets in. On the farm we used to have to water the crops if there was a frost to keep them from dying before the harvest…

Alas, it was all too true. The basil is a shade of mud brown. (Now I don’t have to take care of it anymore!)
