I don’t normally post links but this article to me is classic New England. Reading it just makes me laugh. I don’t think consumers in LA would stand for this, much less come back for more.

Qualifier: not all customer service here is this extreme and there’s lots of genuinely courteous and polite folks here. And actually, I find people more helpful here though rough around the edges. This is in contrast to LA where they’re usually polite but not always helpful.
